We arrived in Vancouver, British, Columbia after a 2 hour and 15 minute flight from Denver, Colorado to begin our second visit to Alaska. One of the most convenient processes was the elimination of requiring us to go through customs. It was all handled by the Cruise line (Princess). After boarding a bus we were taken on a 45 minute tour of the city and were let off at Canada place, the ships terminal.
This cosmopolitan City has a population of 2.1 million people. Nearly a third of Vancouverites are of Asian descent. Vancouver is preparing to host the 2010 Winter Olympics.
We left Vancouver on schedule at 4:30 pm. Leaving Vancouver, we passed under Lion's Gate Bridge and headed to the Point Atkinson Lighthouse.
