On November 14, 2007 Gail and I began a trip to South America . Our major heading was a Cruise on a Holland America Ship the m/s Rotterdam VI around the Continent of South America. This is our 7th trip to South America. It is spring time in the Southern part at this time of year. We began our trip by flying from Denver to Washington DC to connect on a flight to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The flight from Washington to Rio was 9 1/2 long hours. We arrived at our Hotel in Rio at the Sheraton Rio Hotel and Tower on Thursday November 15. We toured the city and boarded the Ship on Friday Nov. 16.
We stopped at several ports in our Cruise. With facts about the ports, the history along with images I took, this web site although interesting is rather lengthly. To break it up a little I have divided the site by the ports in the sequence we visited them. Each port can be aces sed by clicking the button on the left. The whole site may take some time to view but worthwhile.
