As mentioned on the home page, both Gail and I have a passion for travel. Through my business assignments, SCUBA diving hobby, and vacations both Gail and I have traveled to a number of geographic entities. This page will guide you to some of our adventures, but first I would like to place all geographical entities in the world into 12 Regions, defined by the buttons on the left side of the page.
The C.I.A.'s book "The World Factbook" defines 266 separate geographic entities in the world. These entities are categorized as follows: 193 Independent States; 73 Dependencies and areas of Special Sovereignty
There is a group for travelers calledThe Traveler's Century Club
This club defines the geographical entities into different groups. Based on this club's definition we have been in xxx geographical entities.
